The rainwater still drains from the sodden landscape but the afternoon sun lights glints on the pooled water. This photo invites the viewer to step inside, to see where the road may take them, the adventures that are promised . It’s a winter scene but with the promise of spring to come. Spring starts with a fragile hope, the delicate looking but strong flowers that start to appear about this time of year. Still the winter rains still cling to control and came back to lash the countryside with even more hard rain. Despairing of ever seeing the sun, Sunday morning brought a beautiful sun filled day and the joy that filled my heart was very much appreciated.
